The Tussington Paradox




When the enthusiastic Member of Parliament, Lucille Tussington is suddenly hurtled into the top job in Downing Street, Civil Servants brace themselves for a roller coaster ride of epic proportions. Countering disastrous speeches, pushy American Ambassadors and a merciless press betting that a lettuce would outlast her premiership. It can only bode badly for the newly minted PM.
Please note that this piece is purely an exercise in political satire and any resemblance to persons or any other vgetables, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Where a resemblance does occur, names have been changed to protect the guilty. Some incidents have been taken out of context and some characters invented for dramatic effect.
No lettuces were harmed in the production of this play.
