HAODS proudly presents its eighth annual dinner theatre in the cosy surrounds of The HAODS Studio, in New St, Henley, which, for this occasion, is transformed into the House of Commons dining room with a delectable meal courtesy of Steve Luscombe of Luscombe’s in Bell St.
This year’s offering of “Pardon Me, Prime Minister” is a riotous political farce brimming with the sort of backroom cover ups, eyebrow-raising favours, and deliciously dodgy dealings that would make even Sir Humphrey reach for the sherry! The forerunner of the famous TV Series, you can expect a night where the canapés aren’t the only thing to leave a funny taste, as the PM finds himself chin-deep in doo doo, with a scandal that feel perilously close to real life.
You are also in for a night of theatrical symmetry, as this Whitehall-set chaos proves itself every bit as worthy of the legendary “Whitehall farces” once seen at the Whitehall Theatre.
