About Us
Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (HAODS) is an amateur dramatic society based in our studio in New Street in Henley-on-Thames.
We perform several shows in our studio per year including our annual dinner theatre show, catered by local restaurateurs.
We are registered with The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) and we perform at least one musical a year in the neighbouring Kenton Theatre.
We also submit at least one of our studio shows annually to The Henley Drama Festival and often tour around local Oxfordshire drama festivals. Due to our success, we have been invited to compete in the National Drama Festival on a number of occasions, including this year.
We welcome new members, both on stage and behind the scenes.
We also welcome newcomers to the performing arts.

HAODS History
HAODS was formed in 1922 with a sell out version of G&S's The Mikado, and we celebrated our 2022 centenery with an award winning version of G&S's Hot Mikado.
